- Roland RAP-10 Audio
- ------------------------------
-
- * Allows control over the audio playback
- parameters for the RAP-10
-
- * It was found that mono wave files loaded
- into wave editors like Sound Forge
- respond to data sent out over the MONO 2
- bus when the card is set to use 2 DMA
- channels (presumably because the other
- bus is assigned to incoming data when
- simultaneous record/playback is enabled)
-
- * The Transpose function can be used
- to alter the wave playback speed in real time.
- However once playback is stopped, most
- audio applications reset the clock to
- the file original sampling frequency and
- transposition is lost. To recall it each time
- wave playback is initiated, save the audio
- settings as a SysX file, then import the
- message into your sequencer
-
- * If another program than Midi Quest must
- use the RAP-10 driver and real time editing
- of both midi & audio functions is mandatory,
- you may want to check Jeff Glatt's freeware
- RAP10 Record/Playback panels (downloads
- at www.hitsquad.com/smm/win95/Sound_
- Cards_Device_Drivers)
-
- * This editor is provided as is and there
- is no technical support provided for it
